This role involves developing and executing fundraising strategies, cultivating and managing donor relationships, preparing impactful proposals, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
The ideal candidate will bring 5 - 7 years of relevant fundraising or business development experience, with a proven record of achieving fundraising or revenue targets in the social or corporate sector.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Fundraising & Donor Development
Identify, approach, and secure new funding opportunities from corporates (CSR), trusts, foundations, and HNIs.
Contribute to annual fundraising planning and achievement of organizational targets.
Design and implement innovative donor acquisition and retention strategies.
2. Proposal Development & Grant Management
Develop high-quality proposals, grant applications, and concept notes.
Collaborate with programme teams to design budgets, outcomes, and impact frameworks.
Ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with donor requirements.
3. Donor Stewardship & Relationship Management
Manage and nurture a portfolio of key donor accounts with a long-term focus.
Coordinate donor visits to schools/programmes and ensure meaningful engagement.
Develop strong stewardship practices, including regular updates, reports, and acknowledgments.
4. Visibility, Events & Networking
Represent Muktangan at CSR forums, donor events, and networking opportunities.
Work with the communications team to develop impactful donor communication materials.
Strengthen Muktangan's positioning as a credible partner for education-focused funding.
5. Documentation & MIS
Maintain donor databases and fundraising pipelines.
Track progress against fundraising targets and share regular MIS updates.
Document case studies, impact stories, and best practices for donor communications.
Required Competencies & Experience
Postgraduate/Graduate degree in Management, Marketing, Social Work, Development Studies, or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, donor management, or business development (NGO/education sector preferred).
Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed fundraising or sales targets.
Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Strong networks within the CSR and philanthropic ecosystem will be an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM or donor management tools preferred.
Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player
