About the role
The Functional Training team is responsible for scaled product and solution training for Customers and internal users. Scaled training opportunities will be delivered with consistency, quality and up-to-date product and data content for all client types across local, agency, audio and national users.
Scope of this role
The Instructional Designer/Project Manager will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing Nielsen's new training certification program. This role will utilize Nielsen's LMS system to develop an engaging and effective e-learning certification program for the various client sectors. The Instructional Designer will work closely with the Operations Managers to build this program to meet the learning requirements for each of the client persona groups for our core products across National, Digital, Local and Audio.
Responsibilities
? Develop and design training programs that meet the needs of our clients
? Work with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and create course content
? Use a variety of instructional design methods and technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences
? Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
? Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in instructional design and technology
? Assist in the management of Nielsen's LMS portal
? Assist in video and audio content creation in collaboration with Learning team
Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field
? 3+ years of experience in instructional design
? Experience with SAP or other Learning and Development software preferred
? Strong understanding of instructional design principles and practices
? Excellent project management and organizational skills
? Experience in developing and delivering training materials in a variety of formats
? Experience with a variety of instructional design methods and technologies
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
