We are interested in individuals who have strong software engineering fundamentals (OO design, test-driven development, unit testing, code reuse, code reviews) as well as hands-on experience with highly scalable distributed systems across the full software lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, support).

Bazaarvoice is looking for outstanding Senior Fullstack Engineer who will be working within a highly experienced API team to scope and develop technical solutions used by teams across Bazaarvoice. They will be involved either directly or indirectly in requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of web applications. This position requires the candidate to have strong time management skills as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills. The Senior Fullstack Engineer will be working within a highly experienced Cross functional micro-services team to scope and develop technical solutions used by teams across Bazaarvoice.

Responsibilities:

Create and define functional and application architecture designs as per business requirements.

Coordinate with stakeholders to verify the technical feasibility designs.

Develop new user-facing interfaces and features.

Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

Integrate front-end and back-end aspects of the web application.

Develop application dashboards utilising existing or new frameworks.

Participate in continuous learning (both formal and informally).

Skills & Experiences necessary

Full stack development experience (Java ,Typescript, Node.Js)

Familiarity with RESTful web services.

5+ years' experience with Java and Javascript libraries (React, Angular).

Experience with databases like MySQL , DynamoDB, Mongo DB or similar.

Solid understanding of Java, Node.Js, Typescript and object-oriented fundamentals such as prototype inheritance and composition.

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling.

Proficient understanding of distributed versioning systems like Git.

Solid understanding of modern build tools such as Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, etc.

Solid Understanding of AWS or equivalent cloud framework.

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
