Job Description

Key responsibilities for this position include:


Participate in technical evaluations and proof of concept work.


Experience developing desktop and cross platform mobile applications.


Must have detailed experience in at least one backend technology as well as database design and development.


Follow/maintain an agile methodology including assigning point values to new features and delivering in a manner which is consistent with those points.


Responsible for understanding of the entire code base, architectural considerations, build process, design and design decisions.


Proficiency with git or other version control software.


Building and testing of APIs.


Integrating front end UI with constructed API


Solid working knowledge of REST services.


Work in a collaborative manner with other developers to plan and design feature implementations and software architecture for current and future applications.


Working closely with the design team to implement designs and provide a level of effort feedback to design choices.


Ability to understand and communicate data, infrastructure, workflow, and solution context technical specifications.


Experience with deployments of applications to the Google Play store and App Store


Minimum of 5+ years of full stack development.


Ability to demonstrate practical understanding and usage of standard network libraries,

layered architecture and object oriented design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology with 10+ years of equivalent experience


Solid experience in Back-end Java and Front-end technologies like Java script, React JS, HTML and CSS


Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases such as but not limited to Hibernate Mongodb, PostgresQL, Oracle,Sybase.


Experience working with Restful web service APIs and databases.


A good understanding of testing and deployment strategies.


Experience with development methodologies such as Agile or SCRUM
