Job Overview

Job Qualifications:




1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.


2. 8+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including significant experience in application support, QA collaboration, and production operations, with a strong focus on full-stack development and platform support.


3. Solid understanding in Agile delivery practices, including sprint execution, task estimation, and working effectively with product owners and technical leads.


4. Hands-on expertise in Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS is required. Experience in C#/.NET, Git, and modern frameworks is strong plus. Familiarity with cloud-native development in AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential.


5. Prior experience with

ContentStack, Vercel, and commercetools

, or other headless/composable commerce platforms is strongly preferred.


6. Strong background in system architecture, DevOps, cloud-native architecture, microservices, serverless and system integrations.


7. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, partner closely with QA teams, support existing systems, and collaborate with engineering leads, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.


8. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills suited for remote collaboration across distributed teams.


9. Ability to translate technical requirements into reliable implementation and support tasks, ensuring platform stability, maintainability, and performance.


10. Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, CCPA, ADA, etc.) with the ability to implement secure coding and operational best practices.


11. Ability to monitor, maintain, and improve production systems using observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch).


12. Comfortable working in

scheduled or on-call rotations

to ensure production system reliability.


13. Experience in

application support

, QA triage, debugging production issues, analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and delivering fixes with minimal supervision.


14. Comfortable operating in a transitioning role, balancing QA assistance, support, and incremental development responsibilities.

Job Summary:




The Senior Full-Stack - Support & QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, quality, and reliability of YCH's B2B eCommerce ecosystem, including the composable commerce stack built on ContentStack, Vercel, and commercetools, while contributing to the development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of these systems.


This role is highly hands-on, focused on initially QA assistance during active Dev/UAT cycles, including triage, defect analysis, RCA, release validation. After an initial ramp-up period and ongoing support of QA activities during Dev/UAT cycles, the role will progressively contribute to feature development, system enhancements, and architectural improvements, aligned with business priorities and platform maturity.


In addition to contributing to the eCommerce platform, the Senior Full-Stack Engineer also works on custom software solutions. Responsibilities include supporting feature development, integrations, system improvements, and ongoing operational needs across these systems as part of YCH's broader technology landscape.

Job Duties:




1. Contribute as a senior full-stack engineer across multiple applications, with an initial emphasis on QA assistance, production support, system stability, delivering high-quality code and scalable technical solutions.


2. Collaborate with onshore engineers and offshore QA/development teams to design, develop, test, and deploy new features and system enhancements.


3. Support the B2B eCommerce platform (ContentStack, Vercel, commercetools), including QA support during Dev/UAT cycles, maintenance, feature development, bug fixes, and integrations with ERP, WMS, CRM, PIM, and third-party systems.


4. Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


5. Provide technical input and mentorship regarding architecture fundamentals, coding standards, solution design, performance optimization, and security best practices.


6. Participate in and improve the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): design, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.


7. Collaborate with offshore QA resources to ensure comprehensive test coverage, assist with triage, and support high-quality releases.


8. Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, logging, alerting, uptime management, release verification and incident investigation and resolution for mission-critical systems.


9. Participate in scheduled maintenance, upgrades, patching, and management of local, staging, and production environments.


10. Contribute to DevOps maturity and continuous improvement using CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern tooling.


11. Support tracking and reporting of delivery metrics such as defect rates, release quality, system uptime and support ticket analysis.


12. Help foster a collaborative, customer-focused engineering culture that emphasizes ownership, quality, reliability and continuous improvement.


13. Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow established safety requirements.


14. May actively participate on the company's Safety Committee.


15. Ensure compliance with company safety policies as well as federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.


16. Understand and follow company policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP, and cGMP relevant to the department to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and sustainability.


17. Adhere to all company policies and departmental procedures.


18. Review documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.


19. Follow all SOPs in assigned areas.


20. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or designee.
