Sr. DevOps Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary \xe2\x80\x93

The DevOps Engineer (Azure, AKS, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker) with 10+ years of experience will possess a breadth of experience across infrastructure and or development who has a bias towards infrastructure automation especially using Kubernetes and containerization, and be passionate about continual improvement, innovating automation and driving efficiency in everything they do.

Technical Skills:

\xef\x82\xb7 Building and maintaining tools to automate application and infrastructure deployment, and to monitor operations.

\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinating with other members of the DevOps team, Development, Test, and other teams to enhance and optimize existing processes.

\xef\x82\xb7 Have ability to design and implement transformation from an as is state, to the future.

\xef\x82\xb7 Help maintain and support current and future Azure based cloud platforms and infrastructure.

\xef\x82\xb7 Providing guidance & support to the Dev and QA teams as needed

\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in development, operations including deployment automation, automation scripting, configuration management & standardization.

\xef\x82\xb7 Implement monitoring and logging solutions that enable the production systems to be monitored using applications such as Prometheus, Grafana etc.

\xef\x82\xb7 You will be very hands-on technically and love getting your hands dirty in the detail.

\xef\x82\xb7 You will be a key in a team that will build and update an automated container infrastructure pipeline with a view to running Infrastructure as code and immutable infrastructure.

\xef\x82\xb7 In-depth understanding of Team City , understand the scripts, setting the build chains , Setting the unit test and code coverage tools .

\xef\x82\xb7 Should be able to build the image by extracting the files from Artifactory.

\xef\x82\xb7 Understanding on bootloader, Versioning of the image

\xef\x82\xb7 Managing environments in Azure from Dev to Production

\xef\x82\xb7 Kubernetes and Docker, container automation experience, deploying Kubernetes clusters in the cloud preferably Azure (Azure Kubernetes Service/AKS)

\xef\x82\xb7 Hands on experience with CICD and automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitLab

\xef\x82\xb7 Hands on experience with Provisioning languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Bash

\xef\x82\xb7 Proven track record of deploying/running/troubleshooting Docker containers in a production environment.

\xef\x82\xb7 Infrastructure as code automation using Terraform.

\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge on Azure resources like AKS, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, Key Vault, PaaS database, PostgreSQL DB etc.\xe2\x80\xa6

\xef\x82\xb7 Strong understanding on Config. Management

\xef\x82\xb7 Result oriented team player.

\xef\x82\xb7 Good in communication

\xef\x82\xb7 Interpersonal skills

Certifications Needed:

\xef\x82\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or any stream relevant
