Title: Senior UI Engineer / Frontend Design Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a UI-focused Frontend Engineer to build high-quality, Apple-style web experiences. This role sits at the intersection of design precision and engineering discipline. You will be responsible for translating refined design intent into performant, pixel-perfect, interaction-rich web interfaces.

You care deeply about typography, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions. You notice when easing curves are wrong. You know when not to animate.

High-impact marketing websites with Apple-like clarity and polish Product pages with immersive scrolling, subtle transitions, and narrative flow Responsive layouts that feel handcrafted on every screen size Lightweight, fast experiences that score high on Core Web Vitals

Responsibilities

Implement pixel-perfect UI from Figma designs with zero "close enough" Own layout, typography, spacing, and interaction fidelity Build smooth scroll-based transitions and micro-interactions Optimize for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness Collaborate closely with designers to refine interactions and motion Create reusable UI patterns without over-engineering Ensure cross-browser and device consistency

Required Technical Skills

Frontend Core

Expert in HTML5, CSS3, modern layout systems (Flexbox, Grid) Deep understanding of typography on the web Strong JavaScript (ES6+)
Frameworks

React (preferred) Next.js for SSR/SSG and performance Comfort building components without relying heavily on UI libraries
Styling

Strong CSS architecture skills Experience with CSS Modules, Tailwind, or styled-components Ability to write custom CSS when utility classes fall short
Animation & Interaction

Framer Motion and/or GSAP Scroll-based animation techniques Understanding of easing, timing, and motion restraint
Performance

Web performance optimization (LCP, CLS, TTI) Image optimization, lazy loading, font loading strategies Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals awareness

Design Literacy (Non-Negotiable)

You are not "just implementing designs."

You must:

Read and understand Figma files deeply Push back when designs break usability or performance Adjust spacing, type scales, and motion when needed Care about visual hierarchy and rhythm

Nice to Have

Experience building premium brand websites (Apple, Stripe, Linear-style) Familiarity with Three.js or WebGL (only if subtle, not circus tricks) Experience with CMS-driven marketing sites (headless CMS) Accessibility (WCAG) knowledge

Pages feel calm, intentional, and effortless Animations are subtle and purposeful No layout shifts. No jank. No surprises. Design and engineering feel like one discipline, not two teams arguing
