Job Description

We're building a

next-generation low-code platform

that empowers users to design applications visually without writing code. We are looking for a

Senior Frontend Developer

who thrives in high-ownership environments and enjoys building complex, scalable, and performant frontend systems.

You will play a key role in shaping the

frontend architecture

, building reusable components, and designing the core editor and runtime experience that enables our users to create powerful applications. This is a hands-on role where your decisions directly impact the platform's usability, scalability, and long-term success.

What You'll Do

Architect and develop

schema-driven, dynamic UIs

for our low-code platform using

React and TypeScript

Build

reusable, composable components

and enforce strong contracts for extensibility Implement

state management for complex workflows

, forms, and dynamic applications Optimise performance for

large, dynamic component trees

in real-time editing environments Design and implement

builder/editor interfaces

(drag-and-drop, property panels, inspectors) with a strong focus on usability for non-technical users Contribute to

frontend architecture decisions

, including plugin systems, extensibility, and backward compatibility Integrate frontend with backend services and

RESTful APIs

while maintaining performance and reliability Ensure

accessibility (WCAG), security, and governance

in user-configured applications Mentor junior engineers and help raise the bar for

frontend craftsmanship

What We're Looking For

5+ years

of professional frontend development experience Strong expertise in

React and TypeScript

Deep understanding of

component-based and schema-driven architecture

Experience with

modern state management

(Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar) Solid knowledge of

HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design

Experience with

RESTful APIs

and frontend-backend integration Familiarity with

build tools

like Webpack or Vite Proven ability to

optimise performance

in complex, dynamic applications Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think in

abstractions for reusable systems

Nice to Have

Experience building

low-code or no-code platforms

Familiarity with

design systems and reusable component libraries

Knowledge of

CI/CD pipelines

and cloud-based deployments (AWS, GCP, Vercel, etc.) Understanding of

versioning, migrations, and backward compatibility

in platform products Exposure to

testing frameworks

(Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) Experience with

accessibility standards (WCAG)

and inclusive design
