You'll be working in the global Fixed Income Rates and Credit markets technology team. We are a fast-paced, highly motivated, delivery-focused but friendly team, present in 8 cities in 6 countries covering the US, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. Our job is to create and deliver innovative solutions for business problems, whilst maintaining a complex and multifaceted platform.

You will:


Help us evolve the architecture of a complex Fixed Income Rates and Credit markets system


Deliver on strategic initiatives to support the growth of our R&C business


Collaborate with global business and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements


Design and implement solutions, writing high-quality, production-grade code


Work across the full software development lifecycle, in an agile team, using automated testing


Coordinate releases and dependencies across teams, facilitating cross-team collaboration


Take responsibility and ownership for the system, perform level 3 support to resolve production defects, and steer the production operations team in rollout and support-related matters

Skills

Must have


8 to 14 years of professional experience in front-end development.


Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and Redux.


Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.


Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment best practices.


Proficiency in Kafka and other messaging/middleware technologies for distributed systems.


Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.


Familiarity with modern build tools and workflows (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).


Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills.


Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards


Nice to have


Experience in financial services or trading platforms, particularly in Rates and Credit domains.


Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.


Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or similar.


Understand the sense of urgency and work in the front office area of any investment bank.


Good to have experience working with investment banks.
