Job Description

A Front Office Executive in a hospital manages the reception area, greets patients and visitors, handles inquiries, schedules appointments, and assists with various administrative tasks. They play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Key Responsibilities:

Patient and Visitor Interaction:

Greeting and assisting patients and visitors, providing information and directions, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Scheduling Appointments:

Managing appointment scheduling for doctors and other medical professionals, confirming appointments, and coordinating with patients.

Administrative Tasks:

Handling phone calls, managing patient records, updating information, and assisting with billing and insurance verification.

Maintaining Reception Area:

Ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable.

Communication and Coordination:

Communicating effectively with patients, medical staff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Handling Inquiries and Complaints:

Addressing patient inquiries and complaints, resolving issues, and escalating when necessary.

Maintaining Confidentiality:

Handling sensitive patient information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality.

Billing and Payment Processing:

Assisting with patient billing, processing payments, and managing financial transactions.
Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and staff.

Customer Service Skills:

A friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude is crucial.

Organizational Skills:
