To provide a welcoming and professional experience to patients and visitors, manage appointments and registrations efficiently, and ensure smooth front desk operations while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1? Patient Handling & Customer Service
Greet patients and visitors politely and guide them as required
Handle patient registration, billing, and sample collection forms
Provide accurate information about tests, reports, and services
Manage waiting areas and ensure patient comfort
2? Appointments & Scheduling
Maintain and schedule appointments through the hospital/diagnostic software
Coordinate with laboratory and radiology teams for timely patient flow
3? Billing & Documentation
Prepare bills, accept payments (cash, card, UPI, etc.)
Maintain daily cash register and reconcile transactions
Ensure correct documentation such as prescriptions, referrals, and ID proofs
4? Communication & Coordination
Respond to calls, queries, and follow-ups professionally
Inform patients about report collection timelines and delivery options
Maintain internal communication with departments for seamless operations
5? Compliance & Data Confidentiality
Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with center policies
Follow safety, hygiene, and administrative protocols
Skills & Competencies Required:
Good communication in English & Hindi (additional local language preferred)
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
Basic computer knowledge and experience with healthcare software (preferred)
Positive attitude and professional appearance
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 12th pass / Graduate in any stream
1-3 years of experience in a healthcare/diagnostics front desk role (preferred)
Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered
