Job Description

A French trainer's job involves designing, delivering, and assessing French language lessons for diverse learners, incorporating French culture and customs, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to meet educational goals. Responsibilities

Instruction & Curriculum: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for French language, grammar, and culture. Tailor instruction to meet the diverse learning styles and proficiency levels of students. Utilize a range of teaching methods and multimedia tools to enhance learning. Assessment & Feedback: Assess student proficiency and track progress through assignments, quizzes, and tests. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their language skills. Maintain accurate records of student performance and learning outcomes. Student Engagement & Support: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students. Encourage conversation and practical application of the language through various activities. Offer additional support or enrichment activities to students needing extra help. Cultural Integration: Incorporate French history, literature, and customs into the curriculum to provide a deeper cultural understanding. Organize and facilitate cultural events to enhance students' appreciation of the French language and culture. Collaboration & Administration: Collaborate with other instructors, faculty, and program coordinators to ensure learning objectives are met. Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress as needed. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and faculty meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in French, French Literature, or a related field. Skills: Native or near-native proficiency in both written and spoken French. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills. Patience, resilience, and innovative thinking. Good administrative and problem-solving skills. Experience:Previous experience in teaching or a similar educational role is highly desirable. Certification:A teaching certificate or qualification may be required.
