to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires hands-on experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, budgeting, and audit support. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
Review and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accountants and accounting staff.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and analysis.
Cross-Border Transactions
Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Prepare documentation for international transactions to comply with transfer pricing and other regulatory requirements.
Monitor and maintain foreign bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with local finance teams, management, and other departments to ensure alignment on financial reporting and strategic goals.
Provide financial advice and guidance to business units on international finance and accounting issues.
Liaise with international stakeholders to resolve accounting matters and provide regular financial updates.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, XERO, ZOHO, MYOB, SAGE, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ready to learn new software and able to train team members effectively
