About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team at Poly Dimensional Software Developers. The ideal candidate will be an expert in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable mobile applications using Flutter and the Firebase ecosystem. You will be responsible for creating robust, feature-rich applications from the ground up. This role offers flexibility with both work-from-office and work-from-home options.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced, cross-platform applications for Android and iOS using the Flutter framework.

Implement and manage backend services using the Firebase platform, including Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Functions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, Product, QA) to define, design, and ship new features.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and architectural patterns.

Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance for a seamless user experience.

Mentor junior developers, contribute to code reviews, and help maintain high code quality standards.

Stay updated with the latest trends in Flutter, Dart, and mobile development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-7 years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 2+ years of dedicated experience in Flutter.

Strong proficiency in Dart programming language and a deep understanding of the Flutter framework and its core principles.

Extensive hands-on experience with the Firebase platform, including:

Cloud Firestore / Realtime Database for data persistence and real-time synchronization.

Firebase Authentication for user management and secure access.

Cloud Functions for Firebase to run backend code.

Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications.

Firebase Storage for managing user-generated content.

Familiarity with Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics.

Proven experience with state management solutions (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, GetX).

Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including architecture and testing.

Experience in publishing applications to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Proficiency with version control using Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Good to Have

Experience with native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).

Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Experience in writing and implementing robust Firebase Security Rules.
