The Senior Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth workflow, quality compliance, and timely completion of tasks across multiple projects. This role requires strong leadership, coordination with various departments, and hands-on involvement in project execution, billing verification, and labour management. The Senior Supervisor ensures all work aligns with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory norms.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Supervision & Coordination
Monitor overall site workflow, progress, and daily activities to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with Engineers, Supervisors, Contractors, and Vendor teams to meet project timelines.
Provide guidance and resolve site-related issues promptly to avoid delays.
Labour & Resource Management
Arrange and manage labour contractors as per site requirements.
Monitor labour productivity, attendance, and allocation of manpower.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources, tools, and equipment at sites.
Billing & Documentation Support
Check and verify measurement sheets, abstracts, RA Bills, and related documentation.
Coordinate with the Billing Department to ensure accuracy of material billing, rate analysis, and BOQ preparation.
Review variation statements, labour bills, and maintain proper records.
Quality Control & Safety
Ensure adherence to company quality standards in all project activities.
Implement and monitor safety protocols at sites, conducting toolbox talks and safety drills.
Identify potential risks and take preventive measures to minimize accidents.
Client & Vendor Coordination
Attend site meetings with client representatives, vendor engineers, and internal teams.
Ensure project progress, billing submissions, and documentation are aligned with client requirements.
Support resolution of site issues to maintain smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
Reporting & Compliance
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management review.
Ensure timely submission of project updates, bills, and supporting documentation.
Support audits, inspections, and ensure compliance with statutory and company policies.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of construction workflows, billing, and project documentation.
Good negotiation and coordination skills with vendors and labour contractors.
Strong problem-solving, quality control, and safety management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and site reporting formats.
