About this role:





Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Financial Crimes Specialist.



In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within functional area and contribute to large-scale planning related to functional area deliverables Investigate, research, examine, and report complex financial crimes transactions, policy violations and suspicious situations with high levels of risk Perform risk evaluation and modeling to provide input and recommendations for financial crimes strategies and models Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes and internal controls Conduct data and onsite reviews, review findings, determine risk level and recommend resulting fraud prevention strategies Perform investigative research, root cause assessment and consulting regarding highly complex financial crimes transactions, policy violations and suspicious situations with moderate to high risk Perform detailed examination to detect transactional and relationship patterns, trends, anomalies and schemes across multiple businesses or products Act as an escalation point for more complex cases Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet deliverables Partner closely with leadership to develop strategies to minimize financial crime portfolio risk through innovative methods with the ultimate goal of maximizing profits Provide leadership within the team Serve as a liaison and represent the organization in handling court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff Develop and deliver a wide range of training for individuals involved in issue detection Interact internally and externally to conduct investigations or to address risk management

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Anti -Money Laundering (AML) / Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) experience including strong knowledge and understanding of transaction monitoring.
In-depth knowledge of OFAC regulations, US sanctions and global regulatory guidelines.
Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills

Job expectations :

Work From Office - All 5 days Shift requirement - 9:30 PM IST to 6:30 AM IST standard / permanent shift
