Your role, your impact
As a Senior Financial Analyst reporting to the Divisional Controller, you'll oversee accounting activities for Alithya's India operations. Acting as the primary finance point of contact, you'll manage local finance functions, ensure compliance with Indian regulations, and align processes with global policies. This role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to connect local requirements with international standards.
Your day-to-day
Align local finance operations with global objectives through effective collaboration with international teams;
Ensure compliance with Indian accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements, advising global teams on local implications;
Oversee daily accounting functions, including Payables, Receivables, Treasury, and Payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and process improvements;
Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, and statutory financial statement preparation;
Manage intercompany invoicing, reconciliations, and assist with transfer pricing calculations;
Liaise with auditors, finance service providers, and authorities to ensure smooth statutory and internal audit processes;
Maintain internal controls, identify risks, and recommend process improvements, including ERP and payroll system enhancements;
Support the integration of newly acquired companies into existing finance processes.

Keys to your success
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience;
Experience in multinational environments, collaborating across time zones;
Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle or Tally, and advanced Excel skills;
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), IFRS, Indian taxation laws, and compliance frameworks;
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to change.

CA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
