We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and financial discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Manage invoicing, payment processing, and follow-up on outstanding receivables.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices, advising management on necessary actions.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Assist with payroll and HR Admin
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other tax regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
