Job Description


You ll be part of the Value Management Office (VMO) and Global Functions Finance leadership team delivering finance support and leadership to senior stakeholders across all of Haleon s Global Functions. The team consist of team members in both UK and India GCC. We are looking for a Strategic Thought Leader to Global Functions stakeholders, driving and leading all aspects of the financial agenda for the centrally managed Global Functions. You will provide finance partnering to Legal, Corporate Affairs, Sustainability, Strategy and other central teams and corresponding LTs in managing their budgets, actuals and ad-hoc requests. The role will also act as senior leader and process owner across all Global Functions in GCC. You ll enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced, problem-solving environment that requires you to think and act quickly to address strategic and day-to-day business priorities. This is a high-profile role with a global remit that requires the ability to effectively manage and influence teams and stakeholders across different countries and levels . The VMO and Global Functions Finance team is responsible for: Partnering with Senior Global leaders across: HR, Finance, Digital&Tech, Corp Affairs, Procurement, Legal/Ethics and Compliance, Sustainability, Strategy and other central/corporate teams. Support and drive indirect procurement savings globally Through VMO framework, identify SG&A value creating opportunities across the company enable best practice sharing Support Planning Activities for Global Functions and HQ Deliver strategic Finance partnering to Global Functions Spend Management and resource allocation (ca. 700m) Job description Global Functions Finance is strengthening team at the Haleon GCC, Bengaluru. This role will receive activities migrating from UK. You will initially play a key part in ensuring the successful handover of responsibilities. Your post-transition responsibilities will include - but non-exhaustively Leading a team of 2-4 members, plus indirect FTEs. Provide financial and strategic advice to Global Functions Leadership Team stakeholders, actively contribute to delivery of overall financial reporting and performance. Build collaborative and trusted working relationships within senior stakeholders in the function, and across finance, that ensure successful finance partnering. Provide excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated by creation of a network of key partners within Finance and the business. Ensure adherence to challenging financial targets by close financial management, including highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance, and proactively identifying risks and opportunities to meeting business and financial objectives. Drive cost consciousness across the function, increasing engagement and skills development amongst Haleon Executive Team (HET) budget holders. Drive business planning insights and accountability by ensuring budgets and forecasts are aligned and allocated according to the priorities of the function. Lead the preparation of the Budget and Latest Estimates for the respective Global Functions. Analyse and present finance data in a way that provides insight, enables decision making and drives business performance as well as supporting the Head of VMO and relevant HET/HET-1 stakeholders by proactively identifying opportunities and raising challenges to meet business objectives and mitigate risks. Manage a diverse team of professionals and act as Global Functions overall lead in CGG. Act as process lead across key areas in Global Functions and VMO. Continuously identifying & driving improvements in month end, planning and partnering processes, ensuring sustainability & suitability for an FMCG company Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring across GCC Finance. Requirements/Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor s degree MBA or Accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) Basic Requirements Experience in financial controlling, financial reporting or financial audit roles (at least 12 years) with a deep understanding of management reporting and financial planning. Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering with senior business stakeholders. Experience from leading diverse teams and working in a global organization across a matrix environment with cross functional stakeholders. Ability to build relationships, and influence at the highest level of the business and think strategically. Strong communicator with experience working in English speaking organisations Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and ask the right questions to achieve the optimal outcome Strong Excel skills Preferred Requirements Supply Chain and / or FMCG industry experience Experience of working with and delivering results with outsourced BPO providers Experience with SAP Experience with Power BI Enjoy permanent changes and demonstrate great agility and resilience Calm under pressure and able to manage competing demands Able to see the big picture and think beyond immediate area of responsibility
