About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager- Finance to oversee financial operations, ensure tax compliance, and provide strategic financial insights. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in direct and indirect taxation (TDS, GST), financial reporting, auditing, and reconciliation. They should be proficient in accounting standards, regulatory compliance. Specifically, this role will involve:
1. Tax Compliance and Planning
Ensure
direct and indirect tax compliance
, including
TDS and GST
calculations, filings, and audits.
Compute
monthly TDS liability
, file
TDS returns (26Q, 24Q, 27Q)
, and issue
TDS/TCS certificates
on a quarterly basis.
Conduct
26AS reconciliation
and resolve
TDS defaults or late payment issues
through revised returns.
Compute
monthly GST liability
, file
GSTR-3B & GSTR-1
, and perform
GST ITC reconciliation
with books and GSTR 2A/2B.
Handle GST registration, amendments, and timely
e-payment of GST
.
Assist in
tax audits, transfer pricing certifications
, and liaise with tax authorities for assessments and appeals.
Keep the organization informed about the financial impact of tax laws and regulations.
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and maintain
financial statements
, including
balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements
.
Ensure compliance with
Accounting Standards, Schedule III of the Companies Act 2013
, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Conduct analytical reviews of
P&L accounts and balance sheet items
to provide insights and recommendations.
Support
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
processes.
Assist in the preparation and filing of
income tax returns
.
Maintain
accurate bookkeeping
and oversee
ledger reconciliations
for compliance.
3. Accounts & Reconciliation
Supervise
accounts payable & receivable
, ensuring timely payments and outstanding balance tracking.
Conduct
bank reconciliations, debtors & creditors reconciliation, and GST reconciliation
.
Monitor supplier advances, outstanding balances, and perform
aging analysis
.
Control
general ledger activities
by scrutinizing accounts and ensuring compliance.
4. Audit & Internal Controls
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for
statutory audits
.
Ensure adherence to
internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements
.
Ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in finance, accounting, or taxation
Strong knowledge of
TDS, GST, tax audits, and corporate compliance
Proficiency in
Tally ERP9, financial reporting, and reconciliation
.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) - Minimum 2-4 years of post qualification experience.
