MANDATORY TO HAVE EXPOSURE IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY.
THE HEAD OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION will ensure effective strategic and operational financial planning, monitoring and reporting to enhance the decision making process of the company.
The person appointed will oversee all day to day operations of the administration function. She/he will ensure Organisation complies with all statutory and external requirements and regulations, and that IT and HR processes support the effective running of the company. The Head of Administration / FInance will be the key player in creating and maintaining healthy financial and administrative systems.
Key responsibilities:
Financial Accounting and Reporting
Cash flow control / budget
Financial systems, procedures & internal controls
HR & payroll functions
Company secretariat matters
Legal compliance / Corporate Governance / Statutory Compliances
IT & Phone systems and applications
Staff supervision within the Admin section / all admin related work on HR APP
Contribute to the strategic planning, financial management and day-today running of the organisation
Main duties:
Ensure accurate, complete & timely financial and management reporting, including monthly management accounts and bank reconcilations
Undertake ad hoc financial analysis from time to time, to assist organisation in evaluating income streams, and potential for cost efficiencies
Annual Accounts & Audit liaison
Timely submission of all external reporting e.g. Companies Office, Funding Bodies
Board reporting - providing finance and other reports as required for Board meetings
Manage budget processes
Continuous review all finance policies & internal control procedures
Responsibility for all company IT including management of outsourced IT contract
Operation of payroll, pension / Production of payroll returns
Responsibility for all tax affairs
Ensure HR policies & processes are in place and adhered to
Company Secretarial Matters
Arrange authorisation of electronic and manual payments, liaison with banks
Supervision of Admin staff, including liaison with relevant programme managers
Responsible for all insurance
Property/ Office Management, including ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, managing supplier contracts (eg. landlord, office machines)
Contribute to the overall leadership, strategic planning and management / To undertake other duties as required by the MD / Director from time to time /To work flexibly with senior management / To maintain confidentiality over personal information relating to staff and clients
Essential Qualities
? Minimum 12 to 17 years experience of managing administration/finance systems
? Excellent IT skills
? Proven ability to produce budget plans and reports
? Experience in staff supervision
? Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
? Professional qualification in relevant area
