Role Objective



The

Senior Finance Manager

will be responsible for leading all aspects of the company's financial management, including accounting, budgeting, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance. The role demands a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented professional who can manage end-to-end finance functions for a fast-growing FMCG business.

This position requires strong business acumen, leadership, and the ability to translate financial data into strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities



1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Manage and supervise daily accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with statutory and management requirements. Develop and monitor MIS reports, profitability analysis, and business performance dashboards. Ensure accuracy and transparency in all financial reporting processes.
2. Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting

Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts for all business units. Monitor budget vs. actual performance and perform detailed variance analysis. Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations for cost optimization and revenue improvement.
3. Audit & Statutory Compliance

Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits in coordination with external auditors. Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations including

GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, ROC, and Company Law

. Oversee timely filing of returns and ensure accurate maintenance of statutory records. Liaise with government authorities, financial institutions, and auditors as needed.
4. Taxation & Legal

Oversee direct and indirect taxation including income tax, GST filings, reconciliations, and refunds. Ensure all compliance deadlines are met and financial practices adhere to legal standards. Manage financial risk, credit control, and ensure adherence to internal policies.
5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Monitor daily cash flow, working capital, and banking transactions. Ensure timely vendor payments and efficient fund management. Manage banking relationships, overdraft facilities, and funding lines.
6. Costing & Inventory Control

Implement cost control measures to enhance profitability. Review and analyze product costing, margin analysis, and inventory valuation. Coordinate with operations to minimize wastage and improve supply chain efficiency.
7. Team Management & Coordination

Lead, train, and supervise the finance and accounts team. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, Sales, Procurement, and HR. Drive financial discipline and foster a culture of accountability across teams.
8. Investor Relations (Preferred)

Prepare financial models, business plans, and investor reports. Support management in due diligence, fundraising, and strategic financial discussions.
Required Skills & Competencies

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

with a strong academic and professional record. Minimum

5 years of post-qualification experience

in FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or related industries. Excellent command over

Tally Prime, MS Excel, and financial analytics tools.

In-depth knowledge of

accounting principles, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.

Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under deadlines. Leadership mindset with integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Timely closure of books and financial reporting. Accuracy and compliance in statutory filings. Budget adherence and variance management. Cost optimization and working capital efficiency. Audit completion without major observations. Team development and process improvement initiatives.

Pay: ₹21,893.51 - ₹79,326.92 per month
