You\xe2\x80\x99ll collaborate with the Senior Director of FP&A in support of Lines of Business (LOB\xe2\x80\x99s), Corporate Functions Finance organization, Investor Relations and the ESG office. In this impactful role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

  • Support Senior Director of FP&A in execution of support of LOB\xe2\x80\x99s, Corporate Functions Finance organization, Investor Relations and Office of Global Climate Response & ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance)
  • Directly support LOB\xe2\x80\x99s in preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews and Board report submissions
  • Support Investor Relations with Quarterly earnings materials
  • Facilitate annual budget and monthly forecasting processes ensuring accurate, timely and efficient execution
  • Prepare reports and analysis of company operations and key performance indicators
  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance
  • Identify trends and recommend improvements accordingly
  • Develop and deliver effective and timely business analysis
  • Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • In partnership with the Corporate ESG Team, lead execution of Jacobs\xe2\x80\x99 internal and external ESG reporting, including but not limited to project management of year-round reporting schedule, development of annual disclosures and key submissions, production of ESG reports to meet recurring and ad hoc business needs (including ELT and Board-level material), and responding to client, investor, and other ESG questionnaires
  • Lead collection, management, and verification of companywide ESG data, in partnership with Corporate ESG Team and cross-functional partners
  • Ensure robust data controls are in place for company ESG data, including continual improvement of existing practices, introduction of new systems and processes, and engagement with internal and 3rd party auditors
  • Serve as a key partner to Office of GCR & ESG in conducting financial analyses and modeling, providing performance measurement updates and insights, and delivering other ESG-related financial support for existing and forthcoming ESG initiatives (e.g., carbon pricing, VPPA, ESG- aligned revenue calculation)
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of Jacobs\xe2\x80\x99 ESG performance, including score trends and peer benchmarking, to inform development of company\xe2\x80\x99s ESG Improvement Plan
  • Remain abreast of current and emerging regulatory requirements and frameworks for ESG reporting and ensure Jacobs is on track for compliance
  • Serve as primary contact and proactively engage with key ESG raters and rankers to ensure their Jacobs\xe2\x80\x99 ESG data are current and accurate
  • Role will work with the rest of the Corporate FP&A team to deliver on ESG growth as ESG becomes a distributed responsibility and part of everyone\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility within FP&A

  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field
  • Well-rounded technical and analytical skills, balanced with sound business judgment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to develop new processes and systems and continually enhance existing ones
  • Ability to critically review data provided by partners to identify errors and improvement opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders of all levels across the organization
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills, including ability to adapt and re- prioritize to meet changing business needs
  • Outstanding Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Ideally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also have:
  • Strong knowledge of ESG reporting standards, frameworks, regulatory environment, and rating organizations
  • Experience leading corporate ESG Reporting
