About This Role

We are seeking an impactful and collaborative Senior Finance Manager to support the Technology organization and work closely across the Divisional Technology Finance team. The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for leading the Workforce team, owning and producing Workforce data and insights across Divisional Technology to support forecasts, budgets, monthly reporting and driving insights and integrity in our workforce data. They would partner across the finance business partners and working collaboratively to continuously seek to improve reporting and to drive robust data and clarity. The senior finance manager would also lead the workforce team and support with embedding TCO across Divisional Technology and driving standardization and consistency. They would partner with the finance business partners to drive insights regarding monthly performance, forward looking forecasts and budget targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver standardisation of workforce data and analysis across Divisional Technology
  • Work collaboratively with the business partners to drive insight and challenge across workforce
  • Support and Embed TCO across Divisional Technology by working closely with the business managers and finance business partners
  • Support and drive balance sheet clarity and depreciation breakdown by application (TCO) to improve insight for Divisional Technology
  • Support Divisional Technology to deliver the 2024 financial plans with particular focus on robust workforce cash management and analysis
  • Support the wider team to deliver an operating model to enable TCO - working closely with the FP&A and Business Partners team to make Divisional Tech and wider tech finance successful
  • Continue to support D&A, L&D and team engagement across Divisional Tech and wider Tech Finance
  • Drive financial performance through workforce models and insights for actuals, budget and forecasts.
  • Collaborates with the Divisional Tech Finance to deliver quality management information and provides finance support for workforce insights
  • Develop Performance KPI\'s to drive insight and action in the Technology teams.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrates ambition and leadership qualities and supports junior members of the team Ability to model and manage large data in excel
  • Critical thinking and ability to take on complex problems in a structured manner.
  • Ability to analysis a problem and propose a solution and recommendation for a wide data set
  • Demonstrates big picture thinking- building sustainable models for future use and understanding business / finance needs
  • Team player - working closely with Stakeholders and wider finance teams.
  • Adopt and build a range of financial models and metrics to aid business decision-making.
  • Credibility as a thought partner based on a track record of successfully advising, delivering change, driving for data quality and insights and constructively challenging business leaders.
  • Commit to excellence while leading with trust, openness, inclusivity and humility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
The ideal candidate is an experienced finance professional with a proven track record of collaborating with stakeholders, striving for consistency, standardization and pulling insights from data to support the finance team.
