Finance Operations Executive - Responsibilities

Invoice generation for customers and projects (project-based billing) Consultant billing based on approved timesheets and utilization Internal invoicing between India and USA entities Inter-company and chargeback invoicing, including: Per-seater cost allocation Shared services billing Overhead and cost allocation Accounts Receivable (AR) tracking and collection follow-ups Accounts Payable (AP) tracking and vendor payment coordination AR / AP aging analysis (0-30 / 31-60 / 61-90 / 90+ days) Managerial accounting and cost-center accounting using spreadsheets Daily bank reconciliation and cash-flow monitoring Payroll input validation and payroll coordination Work on Saturdays when required (payroll weeks, month-end, year-end closures) Daily finance snapshot reporting to management Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, MIS reports, and finance analytics Provide finance data, reconciliations, and operational inputs to external auditors
Skills & Experience

2-3 years of experience in finance operations within an IT services / IT consulting company Strong hands-on experience in: Invoicing (project-based and timesheet-based) Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Cash-flow management Cost-center and managerial accounting Strong understanding of project billing, utilization, and timesheet-driven invoicing Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets Experience in Power BI or similar financial reporting / analytics tools High accuracy, ownership, and execution discipline Knowledge of Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks is optional Reporting, analytics, and financial visibility orientation preferred over statutory accounting
