Job Description

Position: Sr. Executive-Accounts & Finance

Department: Accounts & Finance

Reporting to: Managing Director

Responsible for: Leading and managing the end-to-end finance and account's function

Location: Factory Office - Bhiwandi Kalher

Role Purpose: To lead and manage the entire finance and accounts function for the manufacturing unit, ensuring financial control, statutory compliance, business analysis, and strategic financial management to support organizational growth and operational efficiency.

Key KPI:
Strategic Financial Management:

Develop and implement robust financial strategies aligned with operational and long-term business goals. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning. Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to support executive decision-making. Ensure timely preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements, MIS reports.
Accounting & Reporting:

Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with statutory and internal policies. Ensure timely closure of books - monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts Manage audits (statutory, tax, internal, cost) and ensure corrective actions Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and filing of returns Oversee accounts payable, receivable, billing, reconciliations. Manage internal and statutory audits, ensuring closure of audit observations.
Cost Control & Project Accounting:

Monitor project-level budgets, estimates, and actuals; analyze deviations and initiate corrective measures. Support pricing, bidding, and cost estimation processes for contracts. Identify and drive cost optimization initiatives across operations.
Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws, regulatory norms, and corporate governance requirements. Develop and enforce internal controls and risk management protocols. Coordinate with legal, regulatory, and tax authorities as required.
Treasury & Working Capital Management:

Manage working capital efficiently, optimizing receivables, inventory, and payables. Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow planning and bank relations. Evaluate and secure appropriate funding and non-fund-based facilities (e.g., BGs, LCs) for projects and capital needs.
Team Leadership:

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team. Foster a culture of accountability, process improvement, and financial discipline.
Additional Responsibilities:

Qualification: Commerce graduate; preferably Inter-CA or MBA in Finance.
Experience:

Hands-on experience in finance, costing, and end-to-end financial operations. Having with 7 to 8+ years of post-qualification experience Hands-on with budgeting, cost control, MIS, and reconciliations Strong team leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Key Skills/ Competencies: o

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Indian GAAP, and applicable tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis Hands-on experience with cost control, inventory accounting, and manufacturing finance Sound understanding of statutory compliance and regulatory frameworks Experience in handling internal, statutory, and tax audits Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle)
