Job Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting including books of accounts, ledger scrutiny, and finalization support
Manage statutory and internal audits; coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit points
Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax compliances and related filings.
Monitor inventory accounting including gold, diamond, and jewellery stock valuation.
Assist in preparation of monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Implement and monitor financial controls, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, parties, and inventory.
Coordinate with sales, and procurement teams for financial accuracy.
Assist in compliance related to exports/imports, if applicable Audit & Controller Exposure.
Experience in statutory, tax, and internal audits.
Strong understanding of financial controls and risk mitigation.
Ability to review financial processes and recommend improvements.
Exposure to handling large transaction volumes typical to jewellery businesses.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance/accounts; jewellery industry experience preferred.
Commerce graduate; CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting standards.
Hands-on experience with ERP/Tally and Excel.
Understanding of jewellery costing, inventory control, and metal accounting.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Experience in statutory, tax, and internal audits with strong risk and control understanding.
