Institute of Optometry,Ayodhya Eye Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer (Optometry) to join its academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical supervision, and academic development of optometry students.

Qualifications:

Master of Optometry (M.Optom) - Mandatory

B.Optom from a recognized institution

Relevant professional registration (if applicable)

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years of teaching experience

(after masters)in Optometry

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lectures, practicals, and clinical training to optometry students

Supervise students during clinical postings and internships

Prepare lesson plans, teaching material, and assessments

Conduct internal exams, evaluations, and academic activities

Mentor students and junior faculty

Participate in curriculum development and academic administration

Ensure ethical practice and patient safety during clinical teaching

Skills Required:

Strong teaching and clinical knowledge in Optometry

Good communication and mentoring skills

Ability to work in a hospital-academic environment

Commitment to academic excellence and professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
