Senior Facility Executive - Technical

Primary Responsibilities:

Technical Systems ManagementOversee operation, maintenance, and repair of building technical systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and BMS

Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules for all technical equipment

Manage technical emergencies and system failures

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized technical services

Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with all relevant technical codes and regulations

Maintain technical documentation, permits, and certifications

Conduct regular technical safety audits and inspections

Implement energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable practices

Team LeadershipSupervise technical staff including technicians and engineers

Provide technical training and development to team members

Allocate resources effectively for technical operations

Evaluate technical team performance

Project ManagementOversee technical renovation and improvement projects

Manage technical aspects of fit-outs and moves

Coordinate with project teams on construction and technical installations

Review and approve technical specifications and drawings

Client Relationship ManagementAct as technical subject matter expert in client interactions

Respond to technical queries and service requests

Provide regular reporting on technical system performance

Make technical recommendations to optimize building performance

Budget ManagementDevelop and manage technical maintenance budgets

Control costs for technical operations

Evaluate ROI for technical improvement projects

Negotiate with vendors for technical services and parts

Qualifications:

Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification

Technical certifications relevant to building systems

Experience with building automation systems

Knowledge of relevant technical codes and regulations

Project management experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Key Performance Indicators:

System uptime and reliability metrics

Energy efficiency measurements

Maintenance schedule adherence

Response time to technical emergencies

Regulatory compliance status

Client satisfaction with technical services

Budget adherence
