About The Role The System Support and Integration Manager (SSIM) is responsible to configure IT applications and design processes in the applications to support business processes for Analytics within TRD. The SSIM plays a key role in the implementation and integration of strategic projects ensuring full integration with all other functions in TRD where necessary. The SSIM analyses Business needs and configures systems to address unmet needs. The SSIM is responsible to ensure that the processes and configuration are working in an integrated GxP environment and are in line with the TRD system and data strategy. The SSIM is accountable to determine business needs for improvement process initiatives, assesses new technologies, designs digital approaches and methodology, analyzes organizational data to recommend solution to new and complex problems, adopts data driven approach in decision-making and building new business models. The SSIM has operational end to end responsibility for assigned systems and leads and manages all project, local and global activities and participates in cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Project manage own tasks and works with allied team members; plans proactively, anticipates and actively manages change, sets stakeholder expectations as required, identifies operational risks and drives issues to resolution, minimizes surprise escalations, with initial support from supervisors Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners and cross-functional teams to solve critical business problems Understand life science data sources including preclinical, clinical, sales, contracting, promotions, social media, patient claims and Real World Evidence Research and co-develop with supervisor new algorithms, methods, statistical models and business models and providing insight into structured and unstructured data, Quickly learn the use of tools, data sources and analytical techniques needed to answer a wide range of critical business questions Support the evaluation of the need of technology and novel scientific software, visualization tools and new approaches to computation to increase efficiency and quality of the Novartis practices Independently identifies research articles and propose them for application to Novartis business problems Develop automation for repeatedly refreshing analysis and generating insights; Articulates solutions /recommendations to business users. Works with senior data science team member to present analytical content concisely and effectively Ability to provide understandable and actionable business intelligence for key Stakeholders. Role Requirements 15+ years of relevant experience in Data Science 2+ years of relevant experience in Data Science 3-5years experience in Pharma/Manufacturing sector in analytical lab in a GMP environment/equivalent Ability to work and lead (a cross-functional team) in a matrix environment; Able to understand changing dynamics of Pharmaceutical industry Advanced knowledge of new and existing product pipeline environment worldwide.
