Job Description


Role: Site Engineer - Senior ExecutivePrimary responsibility is to visit the shortlisted properties along with the BD Team for Project due diligence which involves (Site measurements and technical inspection) The Engineer fills the site validation checklist for any New/Relocation pods, The Engineer needs to draft the floor plan hand sketch in grid sheet and prepare the SLD (Single line diagram) & SDR (site data report) of the store property and share those details to the designer (Draftsman) for preparing block layout. The site engineer will further coordinate with the draftsman by providing the technical inputs as per SDR for preparing the detailed drawings & BOQ, With the detailed GFC (Good for construction) drawings team will explain the vendor along with the project manager for executing the construction smoothly.Persistently keep check on outsourced contractors on quantity and quality of the work executed on site (Inspect all the materials used at the site against the specs approved in the BOQ.)The site engineer will ensure the construction at the site is planned as per the PERT (Project evaluation & review technique) chart; Gantt chart/PERT will play a role in completing the entire work timely. Site engineers on day-to-day updates the site progress to the project manager, in case of any changes required in the drawings based on site conditions during execution, the team corrects and updates the drawings for reference.Post the construction is completed, site engineers need to ensure each scope of work is validated with measurement sheets through a third-party auditor, The site engineer needs to hand over the pod to the OPS/Maintenance & Facility team by clearing the snag points within the stipulated period.Key Responsibilities:Operations: To manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the vendors including routine work.Quality Assurance: Inspect all the materials used at the site against the specs approved in the BOQ.Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and operations satisfaction. Analyze data, performance metrics, and feedback to drive operational excellence.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Pod Operations, Facility Management, and business development team, to optimize operations and address any issues or bottlenecks to complete the targeted tasks.
