Job Position Summary




This role supports compliance and sustainability by managing vessel data, finances, and documentation while coordinating with teams, owners, and managers for accuracy.




Key Roles and Responsibilities




ROUTINE TASKS



Maintain records of submissions and communications for designated Wet and/or Dry vessels. Assist in organizing and managing compliance documentation. Collect, verify, and maintain fuel consumption data from vessels. Ensure receipts of EUAs, financial securities and penalty payments ae properly recorded. Ensure proper documentation of zero-emission technology usage as applicable. Maintain and manage the EU Allowances (EUAs) account monthly. Generate reports for internal reviews and regulatory compliance tracking. Use digital tools to streamline and automate data collection processes. Support data collection efforts for GHG intensity assessments and compliance reporting. Assist in identify and rectify discrepancies related to cargo, fuel usage, port calls, and other vessel operational data.


INTERNAL PARTIES COORDINATION (TECH, IT, ASSIGNED VESSELS, ACCOUNTS)



Assist sustainability and operations teams with emissions tracking and compliance efforts. Coordinate with accounts for managing financial securities, penalty payments, and fund updates. Respond to internal requests for voyage-related data, including proof of sustainability (POS) and fuel data specifics. Assist in the organization and archiving of compliance-related documentation.


EXTERNAL PARTIES COORDINATION (SHIP OWNERS, PREVIOUS MANAGERS)



Work with vessel owners to secure funds and maintain updated financial security records. Coordinate with previous managers to compensate for compliance deficits for newly acquired vessels. Address inquiries from vessel owners regarding voyage-related compliance data.


STAFF MANAGEMENT



Ensure that due care is maintained for office discipline/ decorum and work timings. Assist in streamlining workflows to improve efficiency in compliance documentation and reporting. Contribute to the development of best practices for data validation and accuracy in compliance tracking.


Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications




Any Graduate preferably bachelor's degree in science, Commerce, Arts Degree or Knowhow of environmental science, Maritime, Logistics, or a related field will be added advantage. Prior experience in shipping and compliance monitoring is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and process complex data sets. Proficiency in using digital tools for data collection and reporting. Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment. Strong team player with a positive working attitude
