Job Title:
Senior Executive- Process Safety, HSE
Basic & Minimum Qualification
Degree in Chemical Engineering. (Preferred Post Diploma in safety)
Experience:
2 to 5 years of working experience in a chemical industry
Location: Ankleshwar Site.
and KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop & drive the implementation a comprehensive process safety management system as per company standard & guidelines. Continually monitor and analyze Process Safety hazards to reduce risks at the site by carrying out plant round, inspection, surveys, HAC compliance, process safety studies and risk assessment reviews. Prepare written technical reports with recommendations for corrective actions to control hazards Also assisting other department HOD's on the shop floor for implementation of corrective actions Identified and evaluated exposure to a variety of chemical, physical and biological hazards Carry out the deviation analysis/ HAZOP for all new products/process and modification of existing processes with the team. Determine the requirement of process safety data studies for all process steps and conduct the studies with the help of internal/external resources. Drive the identification of key safety elements and their management program. Organizing and conducting HSE related meetings, training / awareness programs including execution of mock drill. Analyze process safety incidents and near misses and develop recommendations to improve performance. Conducted briefings on a variety process safety management system elements Assist other departments in preparation of HSE related procedures, SOPs, forms etc. Support major capital projects in design consulting, technical safety assurance and start-up assistance Lead process hazard analysis and other safety reviews of chemical processes and projects. To Ensure interpretation of new and revised legislations impacting process safety To Write and update HSE procedures and reports To Work with other departments and propose precautionary controls for electrical and non-electrical explosion protection and develop action plan. Assist HOD in reporting of data on HSE as per site, Group and Statutory requirements. To Ensure interpretation of new and revised legislations impacting process safety


Technical Skills & Competencies / LanguageStatutory HSE requirements, legislations & its compliance Know to chemical reactions, conduct HAZOP, PHA, HIRA, JSA and study on Hazardous Area Classification. Good training skills Communication & Presentation skill * Preferred languages : English, Hindi & Gujarati
