About the Role



We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with 1-3 years of experience in payroll operations. The selected candidate will support the Manager - Payroll Operations in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations in accordance with applicable local labor laws across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, demonstrates strong analytical skills, and has a passion for accuracy and compliance in payroll operations.

Responsibilities




Assist the Manager in overseeing and managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process for all employees across multiple jurisdictions. Prepare, verify, and process wages, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and benefit contributions with accuracy and timeliness. Support the implementation of updates related to new or revised payroll legislation across all operating jurisdictions. Maintain compliance with applicable local payroll, wage, and labor laws, including tax reporting and filings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and smooth payroll operations. Assist in administration and reconciliation of year-end payroll activities, including statutory filings and regulatory submissions. Address employee queries promptly and professionally. Assist in responding to internal and external inquiries regarding payroll, fund planning, social insurance, and taxation. Manage vendor relationships with payroll service providers. Contribute to identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for end-to-end payroll processes.

Demonstrated capability to handle sensitive and confidential data while maintaining integrity. Strong knowledge and thorough understanding of applicable local labor laws across multiple jurisdictions, with a willingness to continually learn and achieve proficiency



Required Competencies








Bachelor's degree in finance & accounting, Business, or related field. 1 to 3 years of experience in processing payroll across multiple jurisdictions, including payroll tax, labor laws, and social security filings. Familiarity with outsourced service provider models for payroll processing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products, especially Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Payroll-related diploma or certificate is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to convey information effectively to diverse stakeholders with confidence.
