Basic Function

• Proven work experience as a database & ETL developer, hands on experience with SQL
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, monitoring, optimization, integrity, consistency, and privacy)
• Design logical and physical data models along with collaring, preparing and presenting statistical information for both internal and external use
• Providing support, guidance and collaborating with Application Developers to implement database design, and review developer\xe2\x80\x99s work to ensure correct implementation
• Perform SQL query tuning
• Participate in SQL code reviews, write and deploy SQL patches, and SQL clustering
• Perform code integration and code review both on performance and stress testing
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks as per the Project Plan
• Highlight Risk and Issues throughout the project life cycle to respective Project Manager

Skills

Technical Skills

• 2-3 years working as a SQL database developer and ETL Designer.
• 2 or more years of handling a database environment of more than 50GB, with strong data analysis and analytical skills.
• SQL server administration experience, including knowing the basics of running Microsoft SQL Server \xe2\x80\x94 users, permission, backups, recovery, monitoring, and more.
• Hands-on SQL expertise\xe2\x80\x94you can write a query to do almost anything.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers and views using SQL.

• Create and maintain SQL scripts and packages using SSIS
• Support ETL processing in support of transforming and loading data into the data warehouse
• Support analysis of Database schema, Tables and Views.
• Strong Knowledge of data marts / data base structures
• Essential hands-on experience working with MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, SAP DW
• Experience on PeopleSoft DW, Azure Data Lake Services, Azure Data Bricks, AWS EBS, AWS S3 is a plus
• Proficiency in the development of complex technical solutions and scripts using SSIS SQL Server
• Experience with Reporting Tools: SSRS, Excel

• Solid understanding of Oracle Database, knowledge of SQL Server Service Broker.
