Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles.
Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning.
Conduct interviews, reference checks, and finalize offers.
Oversee onboarding formalities and orientation programs for new hires.
Employee Records & Documentation
Maintain accurate employee records and HRMIS updates.
Ensure timely issuance of appointment letters, contracts, ID cards, etc.
Payroll & Attendance
Coordinate with Finance for timely payroll inputs.
Ensure proper attendance monitoring and leave management using biometric or manual systems.
Maintain overtime and shift records specific to shipyard operations.
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
Ensure compliance with labour laws (ESI, PF, gratuity, etc.)
Coordinate with external agencies for audits and inspections.
Maintain up-to-date registers as per Factories Act and other applicable laws.
Performance Management
Assist in quarterly and annual performance appraisals.
Track KRAs and feedback from department heads.
Employee Engagement & Welfare
Organize training programs, safety inductions, welfare activities.
Handle grievances and resolve conflicts in coordination with HR Manager.
HR Operations
Assist in disciplinary actions and issuing warning letters.
Support exit formalities, final settlement, and feedback analysis.
