Job Description

A Senior Executive for Logistics in a manufacturing plant manages end-to-end movement, storage, and distribution of materials, focusing on cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and process optimization by coordinating with production/supply chain, negotiating with carriers, overseeing inventory, managing documentation (excise, PODs), resolving issues, tracking and reporting. Key responsibilities include strategy development, vendor management data analysis for savings, ensuring compliance, and supervising daily logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategy & Operations:

Develop and implement logistics strategies, manage daily operations, and ensure seamless flow from raw materials to finished goods.

Transportation Management:

Coordinate with FTL/LTL carriers, negotiate rates, allocate transporters, and manage freight reconciliation and claims.

Inventory & Warehousing:

Oversee stock levels, conduct checks, and manage warehouse activities to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Vendor & Stakeholder Relations:

Build and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams (production, sales, finance).

Documentation & Compliance

: Arrange Challans, delivery orders, PODs, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.

Performance & Reporting:

Monitor KPIs, analyze costs, identify savings, and generate reports for management.

Issue Resolution:

Proactively resolve logistical bottlenecks, delays, and discrepancies.

Qualifications & Skills



Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Knowledge of customs, import/export, and relevant regulations. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business. Experience in manufacturing logistics and handling complex supply chains

o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
