Senior Executive Direct Tax (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Job Description
:
Reporting to the Tax Manager- India, this role will be responsible for all the Direct Corporate Tax affairs of India and Bangladesh. The responsibilities include tax compliances and tax advisory.
Tax compliance
o Work with other departments, to ensure provisional payments are made as required;
o Work with global tax team on quarterly tax provision (\xe2\x80\x9cASC 740\xe2\x80\x9d), tax contingency (\xe2\x80\x9cFIN48\xe2\x80\x9d), cash tax requirement and other required tasks;
o Work on Direct tax assessments and litigations including preparation of submissions and filing of appeals;
o Prepare Tax audit schedules and ensure timely filing of Tax audit report;
o Preparation and filing of income tax return with computation of total income, analysis and preparation for Form 3CEB, Master file;
o Preparation and in depth analysis of monthly margin working;
o Adhoc compliances as required;
o WHT returns and other relevant compliances for Bangladesh entity
o Work with external consultants as and when required;
Tax Consulting
o Assist the Tax Manager on other adc-hoc projects
Experience & Skills
Qualified Chartered Accountant- Minimum 4-5 years of work experience in a consulting firm and/or multinational company
- Knowledge and experience in accounting field as well as taxation matters
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral & written)
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to meet deadlines in an accurate manner
- Well organized and can multi-task
- Advanced knowledge and ability to work on Microsoft tools, SAP
- Good analytical and numerical skills
