Job Responsibilities * Carrying out safety rounds of all areas to watch any unsafe act/unsafe condition and advice to concerned person/ dept. for improved safety practices.

• Carrying out safety audits, identify the gaps and recommend for better safety practices.
• To ensure the work permit system is in place.
• Imparting training (On Job & classroom) to employees of different level on Health, Safety & Environment topics.
• To suggest the concerned dept. for loss prevention practices in view of safety & health of workers, whereas needed.
• To co-ordinate with production & purchase dept. for selection of desired quality PPE, antistatic polybags, conductive flooring etc. as per guideline
• To carry out HAZOP study of new process as well as review the old HAZOP also with the help of concern departments (production, engineering, process engineering)
• To carry out Hazard Identification (HIRA) for the assigned areas of new process as well as modification and review the same on yearly basis.
• To co-ordinate for PSSR (pre start up safety review) of new process as well as modifications.
• To involve in a process of investigation of incident/accident & suggest remedial actions, to avoid recurrences, where as needed.
• To promote safety culture by virtue of various methodology like Safety Talks, Trainings etc.
• To co-ordinate Safety Meets (DSC/CSC), Mock drills as per recommended plan.
• To familiarize about updated On Site Emergency Plan at site.
• To ensure upkeep of monitoring instruments used in EHS.
• To co-ordinate for ISO: 14001-2015 and ISO: 45001-2018 implementation, as per guidelines.
• To involve with requirement of Global EHS Portal activities.
• Implement of global EHS standard.
• Ensure compliance of legal/statutory compliance pertaining to safety
