Job Description

Maintain and continually improve safety standards across the Dadra Manufacturing Plant, ensuring a safe and controlled work environment.

Oversee the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures and ensure they are followed in all operational areas.

Coordinate with plant and construction teams to integrate safe work practices into ongoing activities and daily operations.

Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to enhance employee and contractor safety competency.

Ensure strict compliance with statutory regulations, corporate guidelines, and industry safety norms.

Perform routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify unsafe conditions and potential risks.

Recommend corrective and preventive measures and follow up for timely closure.

Issue and verify work permits such as Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Working at Height, Excavation, and General Work Permits after confirming required safety precautions.

Test and review emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and response capabilities at regular intervals.

Monitor the condition and readiness of fire hydrants, extinguishers, and other firefighting systems.

Enforce mandatory use of PPE and ensure adequate stock availability and proper record maintenance.

Ensure safe execution of high-risk tasks such as excavation, working at height, heavy lifting, and confined space operations.

Maintain incident/near-miss records and ensure timely reporting and investigation at construction sites & Plant.
