The Corporate Intelligence vertical is an integral part of Strategy Risk & Transactions ("SRT") Services. The Corporate Intelligence vertical supports clients across sectors with qualitative inputs through public record research and market enquiries based due diligence to assess the integrity, background and reputation of entities and/ or individuals that the client may wish to transact with or enter into a business relationship with.

Your work profile

As a Senior Executive you will be expected to support the project management team on execution of client engagements. The responsibilities are delineated below:

Strong research and analytical skills to conduct direct and lateral searches on relevant databases, watch lists, and media at large to identify adverse information such as negative coverage, credit defaults, litigation, political exposure, conflict of interests etc. defined as per the work requirement.
Gather information on financials, credit history, litigation, shareholding data and details of ownership pattern of entities as well as identifying shell companies, offshore accounts and other discrepancies
Work in a team to conduct primary research to maintain agreed upon SLA with multiple clients. The reports submitted may include research of relevant databases to obtain information on financials, credit history, litigation, shareholding data and details of ownership pattern of entities defined as per the work requirement.
Strong report drafting skills which include analyzing, corroborating and removing inconsistencies on information gathered across varied sources, including, appropriate citations. Give verbal or written updates to seniors or client.
Help Manager / Senior Manager/ Director/ Partner in strategizing proposals, Engagement Letters, MIS on various projects, time reporting etc.
Excel in a collaborative environment, where the ability to multitask across multiple projects will be expected including in addition answering project-based queries, assisting with risk and engagement on boarding procedures, as well as internal trainings.




Bring in efficiency in Turn-Around-Time and quality of deliverables through innovative research procedures of databases and sources of information.




Undertake various training programs relevant to the role to improve work style and team requirements.
Help reviewer / reporting manager with internal administrative procedures and other related duties that may arise from time to time to meet the ongoing needs of the firm.

Qualifications

Should have strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written English) skills. Flair in written and spoken English language and making formal business reports / presentations. Ability to analyze and summarize complex information in a unique or in own words is a mandatory skill set. Fluency in additional languages - Indian or foreign is a plus. Ideal candidates should possess a Graduate / Post Graduate / Management degree with a specialization in Finance / Commerce / Economics. Candidates with post graduate degrees in other disciplines including liberal arts can also apply provided they are found suitable to the role during the interview process Familiarity with databases such as Factiva, Lexis, Nexis, RoC. Sound knowledge / skills (above average) in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.

Location and way of working

Base location: Mumbai This profile involves occasional travelling to client location Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
