About the Role
In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for leading a team focused on the virtual management of Dineout's long-tail restaurant accounts. You will be the central driver for team performance (OSP), metric achievement, and account growth. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the team effectively executes virtual onboarding, sources commercial inventory (Ads & Discounts), and maintains high standards of account management for tagged restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Performance Management
? Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Vendor Managers responsible for the Virtual Vendor Management scope.
? Performance Review: Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions, and formal performance reviews to ensure individual and team goals are met or exceeded.
? Set clear, actionable goals and manage the team's daily productivity, adherence, and output.
2. Metrics & Account Growth Management
? Metrics Management: Own and drive key business metrics for the VAM cohort, including virtual onboarding targets, revenue generated from sourced Ads & Discounts, and long-tail account retention.
? Growth of the accounts: Develop and implement strategies to drive the overall commercial growth and success of the virtual account base.
? Analyze team and account performance data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
3. Virtual Operations Oversight (VAM Scope)
? Oversee the successful, virtual execution of core VAM activities by the team:
? Managing Long tail accounts virtually to onboard restaurants and ensure a seamless remote partner experience.
? Drive the team to Source Ads & Discounts from tagged restaurants, maximizing commercial opportunities.
? Ensure excellence in Account Management for the tagged restaurants, maintaining high partner satisfaction and operational health.
4. Stakeholder Management
? Act as the primary point of contact for all VAM-related communications between the team and cross-functional partners (e.g., Sales Leadership, Operations, Tech, Finance).
? Facilitate necessary coordination with internal teams to resolve complex issues and implement strategic initiatives.
5. Reporting & Process Excellence
? Prepare and share regular status updates, performance reports, and insights with leadership and relevant stakeholders.
? Ensure the team adheres to all data quality standards, virtual management protocols, and documentation requirements.
