Position Title Senior Executive - Data Science / Advanced Analytics Department BI & Analytics Role Summary: Focus : Analytics driven business opportunities - development and implementation with impact assessments. Clear focus on value add / value impact of projects Analytical & Technical Expertise: Mange and drive E2E Model Lifecycle - business problem understanding, converting it into mathematical/data problem, solution ideation and hypothesis generation, systematic data gathering, scientific hypothesis validation, model building, model validation, production deployment accounting Software Engineering principles, performance evaluation and refining the solution in agile manner Implementation -- Work with business and functional teams on implementation of the analytical solutions, and month on month governance, iterations, and impact assessments Edge on Digital Analytics and Innovations - use case identification, driving Proof of Concepts, and driving the change in the space of digital analytics and innovations Work Management : Ability to multi-task, focus and deliver under high pressure and across multiple projects at any given time, with clear focus on impact assessment and improvisations Note: Functional domain and technical skills are detailed below Organizational Relationships Reports to Manager/ Senior Manager - Analytics Supervises NA Job Dimensions Geographic Area Covered Pan India Job Location Thane-HO Stakeholders Internal Business Channels Distribution planning team Operations / IT Human Resource Operations External Analytics Partners - Banca/ Consultants Key Result Areas Value Add Analytics- BUSINESS - UNDERSTANDING & EXPOSURE TECHNICAL EXPERTISE - Data Modeling Important area for focus DOMAIN & ROLE UNDERSTANDING Leverage current and emerging enterprise technologies to progress Tata AIA\'s data analytics strategy to advanced stages of maturity model. Leverages existing enterprise data repositories and assist in the development of workflow/documentation on data sources to facilitate accessing, understanding, and analyzing data Evaluate centralized and decentralized models and provide team/management with supporting recommendations and implementation strategies. Collaborate with key business, technology & operations departments to identify the most efficient means of harvesting data for analysis and reporting Plan jointly with stakeholders and build new initiatives where BIU & Analytics can ingrain business benefits - premium, TAT, efficiency - programs in all functioning of the businesses Be hands-on - develop statistical tools (listed below) . Groundwork in terms of setting up the analytics tool / solution Perform business analysis activities within the scope of assigned project Support all data analytics initiatives/projects that uses/interfaces with the Power BI features on analytics - to co-create real time analytics Assist in the development and deployment of the organizations data analytics strategy and program which is focused on Assists in process improvement efforts . Track the key business parameters and provide analytical insights Identify opportunities to develop statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to drive marketing and selling proposition efforts around customer acquisition and conversion, efficiency in processes, digital insights and or people analytics TECHNICAL Work on Statistical modules - development, assessment, hypothesis testing and validations, business opportunity -planning - for below business aspects Classification Attribution Simulation Forecasting Predictive / Prescriptive modeling Summarizations Clustering Digital analytics Social media analytics Contextual Unstructured data analytics AI, Deep Learning and Machine Learning techniques . Testing and Validation of the models . Out of time testing Exposure on product and risk analytics in BFSI sector Data Base Management / Business Analytics . Expert in writing clean and optimized SQLs and data pipelines . Database management from all core systems / sources of the organization . Data lake - use case of data / understanding for all data sources / types Case preparation / Model building . Build models that solve problems to provide an uplift in the business outcomes . Present the model to the stakeholder and strategically drive the implementation Implementation High Focus Execution as per plan and adherence to TAT is critical Preparation of the plan for implementation of the predictive analytics model Prepare trackers and update the stakeholders on the progress Track all the models in implementation and provide the management a view of the same . Integrate web analytics into transactional and customer analytics Skills Required Technical Very Strong theoretical and practical Knowledge of Statistical Tools and application usage Strong in Python, good to have R, Power BI/Tableau solutions Expert in SQL Handy on MS Excel & PowerPoint High proficiency in Coding/Programming skills is a must Experience working on large data sets Experience on cloud technology (Azure Preferred) Desirable - Data visualization tools across various Platforms Hardware and Software Engineering knowledge Incumbent Characteristics Essential Desired Qualification Bachelor\'s Degree in Statistics/Engineering and/or full-time specific courses advanced analytics and or statistical analytics from reputed institute is necessary Prior strong experience in Analytic and Statistical tools / working knowledge and implementation experience on same in financial industry is desirable Experience 5-10 Years of Experience. Exposure to insurance industry is preferable MBA in Statistical Analytics shall be highly preferred
