Job Description

• Manage full lifecycle of BIS certification for assigned product categories (new applications, renewals, surveillance, and updates).
• Coordinate with product teams, R&D, global RA, and suppliers to gather technical documents required for BIS submissions.
• Liaise with BIS-recognized labs for product testing, follow-up on test reports, and handle technical queries.
• Prepare and submit BIS applications on the portal and track approval status.
• Ensure packaging artwork, labels, and product marking comply with BIS requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BIS standards, amendments, notifications, and regulatory changes.
• Manage communication with BIS officials, certification agencies, and other regulatory stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and dashboards for all running BIS projects.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to BIS compliance.
• Support cross-functional teams (QRC, Logistics , Legal, Service ) on BIS-related compliance requirements.
• Provide periodic status reports to management and highlight risks or delays proactively.
• Ensure timely renewal of licenses and prevent any lapse in certification.
