Accounting knowledge that reflect the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s awareness of basic concepts of statements and types of accounts
Understanding of MS Excel functions that are used in day to day activities. Awareness of formulae would be an added advantage. Examples, but not limited to SORTING, PIVOT TABLE, SUBTOTAL, SUMIF, COUNTIF, CONCATENATE, CLEAN & TRIM, VLOOKUP, etc.
Participate in quarterly pre-close, close and other following activities to ensure SLAs are met
Handle adhoc calls with the client as and when required
Update process documentation and process maps on a regular basis
Required Qualification and Experience:
A graduate preferably in accounting stream with 1 to 3 years of AR or AP experience in BPO industry
Basics of MS Excel of various functions available
Basics of accounting concepts (Rules of accounting, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Advances, Accruals, Journal Entries, Reserves etc.)
Working experience of large data in an Excel spread sheet is preferable
Competencies:
Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory
Proficient in Microsoft suite of products \xe2\x80\x93 especially Excel
Good numerical skills with an understanding of standard financial processes
Strong and demonstrated analytical and data interpretation skills
Ability to apply and think through to understand the process flow
Attention to detail and methodical approach to keep track of processes and information
Shift Timing:
4PM to 1AM. Should be ready to work till 3:30 AM IST as and when needed
