We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Executive - Accounts
with a minimum of 4 years of accounting and finance experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling statutory compliances (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.), finalization of accounts, and managing end-to-end financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in accounting software (Tally/Zoho), and the ability to supervise and guide junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
Finalization of accounts and monthly calculation, filing & returns for
TDS & GST
.
Ensure compliance with
PF, ESIC, PTEC, PTRC, and IT
requirements.
Manage and maintain accounting work in
Tally ERP 9
and Zoho Books.
Prepare and review financial statements and management reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
Handle GST returns, TDS, taxation, ITR, and finance-related matters.
Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate journal entries.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with management.
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate reports.
Coordinate with auditors (internal & statutory), tax consultants, CA, CS, and government authorities.
Ensure compliance with all statutory laws and financial regulations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Collect payments and manage overdue accounts effectively.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
Hands-on experience with
Tally ERP, Zoho Books, Payroll management
.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
and data entry.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, ITR, and financial compliance (mandatory).
Experience in preparing and filing statutory returns.
Ability to produce work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
Prior experience in managing accounts independently is preferred.
