Job Title: Senior EPM Engineer Experience: 4 - 7 yrs Job Summary: Senior EPM Engineer The primary role of the EPM Engineer is to work and join a team that implements, maintains and enhances the planning / consolidations applications within the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management system. This includes designing, developing, and implementing solutions by utilizing best practices and standards. Role and Responsibilities: EPM resource working in financial systems environment. Work with EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) software including FCCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, ARCS and/or Oracle financials Cloud as well as interact with FP&A. Interpret business requirements and/or enhancements to existing Invesco financial systems and / or business processes. Perform unit, system and interface testing associated with the Oracle EPBCS product and corresponding system interface areas, as well as provide guidance and assistance to client staff to support these testing activities Delivery of enhancements relating to all functionality within EPM including metadata, calculation scripts, business rules, web forms, SmartView, and security. Collaborate with business users to define requirements and project scope. Coordinate with internal and external support staff for issue resolution. Effectively communicate all system modifications to business users and change control. Stay abreast on Oracle EPM releases to determine implementation impact. Coordinate and support EPM architecture and infrastructure issues and initiatives Communicate effectively via phone, email or in person. Interface with clients at all levels. Functional - Technical responsibilities within the Finance EPM team. Create and Maintain EPM Automate scripts, batch scripts for integrations. Knowledge of Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games. Key Skills: 2+ years of experience as an application developer with strong skills and knowledge in Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (PBCS)(EPBCS)(Planning) and Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). Knowledge of the financial systems and business processes preferably Oracle, EPBCS, FDMEE, FCCS, ARCS and Budgeting and Forecasting Processes Knowledge of EPM automate and Batch Scripting. High level of Knowledge in writing Calculation scripts and maintaining business rules in Planning and or Essbase. Broad knowledge of the systems and business processes in the use of financial growth engines e.g. Oracle Analytics Cloud, EPM Suites. Experience with Essbase and OAC/Alteryx is a plus. Experience working in agile methodology. Functional Finance knowledge in working with Business and within applications. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact and communicate internally and externally. Strong work ethic is required. Broad knowledge of the investment systems and associated processes interfacing with financial systems is required. Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required: Good understanding of IT technologies used in engineering standard space Proficient with analysis, design, maintenance, process improvement, and problem solving. Experience using project management tools including Microsoft Office Out of the box thinking, effective & critical thinking, and relationship building. Able to work in a global multicultural environment. Able to influence and build relationships at all levels of staff. Must demonstrate a strong customer focused attitude and provide superior client experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player: Good inter-personal skills combined with willingness to listen. Ability to analyze requirements and to propose innovative but workable solutions. Ability to multi-task and work on more than one initiative at a time. Self-motivated and capable of working with little or no supervision. Ability to react positively under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge in the appropriate technical areas. Education & Certifications :- Minimum a bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Computer Science.
