The Senior English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality English language and literature instruction to middle and senior secondary classes. The teacher ensures strong academic outcomes, builds communication and analytical skills, mentors junior teachers, and contributes to curriculum development and school academic excellence.
Teach English Language and Literature to Classes IX-XII (as applicable).
Deliver engaging lessons in grammar, comprehension, writing skills, prose, poetry, and non-fiction.
Use differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills into daily lessons.
Prepare students for board examinations with intensive practice and strategy sessions.
Develop lesson plans, annual teaching plans, and assessment schedules.
Contribute to curriculum review, enrichment, and academic strategy.
Prepare worksheets, reading lists, writing prompts, and enrichment materials.
Integrate digital tools, audio-visual content, and interactive methods.
