Dimension of Job

This position will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring day to day production activities to adhering to safety standards adherence, training to employees, production schedule adherence, manpower handling, Quality management. Ideal candidate should be well verse with Cast iron green sand foundry process.

Major Role of the Position

Adherence to the Safety standards Plan and execute the production activity as per given schedule Maintain the machine condition to achieve the optimum output Manpower handling to achieve the maximum output Ensuring the processes as per the set parameters to get the right result Implementing the corrective and preventive actions as defined by CFT Monitor the performance of the employees and organize the training time to time Ensuring the proper 5S of the shop floor Co-ordinate with the maintenance team to achieve the maximum output Co-ordinate with the quality team for the right output

Skills Profile

Qualification & Experience:


Education: BE/Diploma in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 yrs (BE) or 5-7 yrs (Dip.) of experience in Cast Iron foundry operations.

Technical:


Cast iron foundry process knowledge. Sand parameters and its effects on quality of green sand molding process Able to handle the shift independently Alloying elements and effects on cast iron and SG iron process Melting process optimization knowledge Should be able to handle the entire production process like melting, molding and grinding section IATF 16949 basic knowledge Basic knowledge on EHS Standards ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

People:


Presentation & Communication skills Leadership: Ability to manage a team, guide and support team members on improvement tools and techniques. Collaborate with CFT's to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
