About this role: The Enterprise Analytics and Data Science (EADS) organization is looking for a Senior Engineer to join the product design & engineering team. The focus of the role is to lead technical solutioning in the Natural Language Processing area. Primary job is to data scientists to architect solutions for NLP use cases and also research and implement latest tools and technology in the language models area. Please note, this is NOT primarily a data scientist role. It is an engineering role to design and create pipelines for AI/ML models and analytic processes with a focus on Natural Language Processing. In this role, you will: Build data and model pipelines for scalable exploration, development and deployment of analytics and AI/ML use cases, especially in the NLP domain Design and implement techniques to scale up data ingestion, cleaning and exploration-- build feature stores, write packages for language model pre-processing, etc. Research and introduce latest and greatest technology, features, libraries to be incorporated -- Large Language Models, Programmatic labeling, transformers, generative models, few shot learning, transfer learning, etc. Research and recommend new platforms, vendor tools and libraries that are coming up Lead solutioning for a wide range of areas covering chatbots and virtual assistants, text generation and classification, sentiment and intent classification, fraud prevention, etc. Required Qualifications: BS degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis Bachelors or Master\'s degree in engineering field like computer science and engineering, Information technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering etc. 5+ years of relevant experience Expertise in one or more analytic tools like : Python,, PySpark, H2O Experience in one or more of Big Data skills - SQL, Teradata, Hadoop, distributed computing Experience with unstructured and semi-structured databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, Neo4j, etc. Experience with key libraries like NLTK, Spacey, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Spark-NLP, Huggingface, etc. Decent knowledge of NLP algorithms like RNN, LSTM, BERT, GPT, etc. Experience with implementing vendor products and pre-trained API\'s like Snorkel, Dialogflow, Lex Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas Desired Qualifications: Thorough understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD and SRE principles Knowledge of banking industry and products in at least one of the LOB such as credit cards, mortgage, deposits, loans or wealth management etc. Knowledge of functional area such as risk, marketing, operations or supply chain in banking industry Pre-sales and pitching experience on technical AI/ML products Job Expectations: As mentioned above We Value Diversity At Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace accordingly, we welcome applications for employment from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, individuals with disabilities, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable law.
